1. Semiconductor material
The core part of photovoltaic panels is semiconductor materials, commonly used semiconductor materials include silicon materials and compound semiconductor materials. Silicon material is the most commonly used semiconductor material, characterized by high purity, good stability, and long lifespan. Compound semiconductor materials include gallium arsenide, indium phosphide, etc., which have advantages such as high photoelectric conversion efficiency and low manufacturing costs.
2. Battery piece
The material of photovoltaic panels is mainly from silica, which is a grayish white ore and is one of the important raw materials commonly used in industry. In the production of photovoltaic panels, silica is processed into polysilicon or monocrystalline silicon material through high temperature treatment, furnace melting, stretching and other processes, which is used to make solar cells. Wire is a key material used in photovoltaic panels to connect the cell and the output. Common wire materials include copper wire and aluminum wire. Copper wire has high electrical conductivity and good mechanical strength, while aluminum wire has low cost and good machinability.
6. Frame
The frame is the peripheral structure of the photovoltaic panel, the main role is to fix the battery, glass and backplane and other materials, while playing the role of protecting and supporting the photovoltaic panel. Commonly used border materials include stainless steel border and aluminum alloy border. The stainless steel frame has high strength and high corrosion resistance, while the aluminum alloy frame has better machinability and lightweight advantages.
7. Packaging materials
The packaging material is used to close the internal structure of the photovoltaic panel to prevent the damage and influence of the external environment on the internal materials of the photovoltaic panel. Commonly used packaging materials include silicone, polyvinyl chloride and so on. Silica gel has good bonding and insulation properties, and can be used to bond materials such as glass and backplane, while playing the role of waterproof and dustproof. PVC has good anti-aging and weather resistance, which can protect the internal structure of photovoltaic panels from the influence of the external environment.
